Our weekend

We had a great Mother's Day weekend!
It was my first weekend {in a long time} that I haven't been stressed out about school!
It was so nice to just relax & spend time with my family.

On Saturday I went shopping with my mom & sister-in-law
I finally found a dress for the wedding that Adam and I are going to at the beach this weekend!
I am SO excited about it~ One of Adam's long time girl friends is getting married & we are getting to spend the weekend with some of his best friends!

We also took advantage of the sale going on at Gap.
We got my niece Carolyne-Grace THE CUTEST bikini ever!
My brother hates that we buy her bikinis ha ha

Saturday night we went to dinner with my mom's family for mother's day.
We met at an Italian restaurant but there was some miscommunication with our reservations so we ended up having to go somewhere else.

We ended up going to The Ritz at Lake Oconee & ate on the lake at Gabbys.
I am a total lake girl & I am obsessed with being near the water.
The food was amazing & the weather was perfect :-)

We all went to church this morning & then my sister-in-law, brother & Carolyne-Grace spent the rest of the day together while I went to brunch with my parents. After we ate I went with my dad to visit my grandma! It was so nice to spend time with my parents!! :-)

My mom chose to enjoy the rest of her day relaxing!
She was so happy to be at the house alone to do whatever she wanted ha ha

I am SO thankful for the amazing relationship I have with my mom.
She loves me and my brother completely UNCONDITIONALLY, no questions asked.
I know that I could never do anything to lose her love--& that is how all children should feel about their mothers.

I hope that one day I can be just as good of a mom to my children as she has been to me.
She supports me no matter what & is always there for me.

& I also want to say happy first mother's day to Chelsea!
She is such an AMAZING mother to CG.. she is such a lucky little girl.
Chelsea is only 19 & obviously having a child that young was not planned & is not an ideal situation but she is so great at being a mommy!!

I am so glad that I finally got the sister I have always wanted.
She would do absolutely anything for Carolyne-Grace.
~I love that she would rather stay at home on a Friday night with her baby than anything else in the world. She completely gave up the rest of her childhood when she got pregnant & not many teenagers do that given the circumstances. I thank God everyday that she has taken this responsibility so seriously & makes it look easy.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mamas!!!
