Healthy Breakfast Alternatives


Happy Friday Y'all !

I don't know about y'all but I am SO excited about this weekend, because for the first time in MONTHS I have NOTHING planned except Church on Sunday & a family cook out that night. Of course I am sitting here now completely clueless as to what to do because I don't have any plans, ha :-)

Anyway, I wanted to share with y'all a healthy breakfast "recipe" that I have been enjoying lately.
I don't know if I have mentioned this or not, but this summer I have been running a lot and really trying to make better lifestyle decisions in terms of the food I eat and the amount of exercise I do.
~Before, I was eating Chick-fil-a for breakfast literally 4-5 times a week and that's a lot considered Chick-fil-a isn't even open on Sundays ! Now that I am running a lot it has me making better food choices..

Here has been my breakfast of choice recently..

1) I take 1 half of an Arnold Select Sandwhich Thin and toast it.
~these guys are only 100 calories and taste AMAZING~


2) Then I put some Jif Crunchy Peanut Butter on it

3) And top it with some Apple Blueberry Granola
~This stuff is kind of pricey but it's worth it because it's organic, tastes great, and lasts for a while.

And here's what you get...
It's super filling so I don't even have to use the other side of the sandwhich thin, which saves money because the bread is lasting me a lot longer :-)

Super simple & tastes amazing!

  2. I'm definitely going to have to try this! I've been trying to make healthier eating decisions too to prepare for our wedding but breakfast is so hard! Thanks for the idea! xoxo
