MyGlam

I was super excited when I was watching one of my favorite YouTube makeup gurus, Michelle Phan, and she announced that she was starting a new website called MyGlam!

MyGlam is an online beauty website that allows you to try out new beauty products on a monthly basis. You pay $10/month and you will receive a MyGlam bag filled with 4-5 full to sample size products.

You can preview the months bag before paying, which I think is awesome. I have been a part of another website like this before but you couldn't see what you were going to get. While it is fun to be surprised with different products, I can't really see myself paying for a product I don't like, so this way I can check out what's going to be in MyGlam bag before hand!

This month has some AWESOME products that I already use and definitely would love to have more of :) Here are the products you will receive in this months MyGlam bag...

What MyGlam says about this product:
Mai Couture Blush Papier delivers a shimmering, sheer dose of color to the apples of your cheeks without the burden of a brush. This perfect on-the-go blush that can be applied anywhere, anytime. Give your complexion an instant glow by keeping this close by. Papiers come in a chic wallet case.

A new kind of pout paint that goes on silky smooth and sets to a matte finish. Soft Matte Lip Cream is surprisingly durable and, unlike some matte lipstick formulas, also leaves lips soft and moisturized.

Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes! 4-in-1 Mascara is what we call a push-up bra for your lashes—a 4-in-1 (lengthening, curling, volumizing, and conditioning) dermatologist- and clinically-proven to increase the appearance of lash volume by 424% after applying giving dramatic, thick and sexy lashes.

**Love this stuff, I use it every.single.day**
Packaged in a new squeeze tube with a precise needle nose, Eyeshadow Primer Potion is an ultra-sheer, totally nude base that glides onto the skin. The original, award-winning formula disappears instantly and is the ultimate eye prep for smoother, more vibrant shadow and all-day wear with absolutely no creasing.

  • This product is an industry favorite and Urban Decay’s best-seller. The shadow is loaded with color, with very few binders (the stuff that holds shadow together), resulting in beautiful color that blends easily and lasts. The subway token compact comes complete with a window (see the shade without opening), and snaps shut with one hand - no more lost lids.

I am really excited about getting my first MyGlam bag soon!! Check out their website to sign up ((this would also make an awesome Christmas present!))

**I was not sponsored, compensated, or asked to review this website, I just thought y'all would be interested in hearing about it because I am super excited about it!**

Bloggy BFF Weekend!

This past weekend is a weekend I had been waiting for since Jessica and I went to Oxford to meet Nicole in September for the first time!

Nicole has come to be one of my best friends and one of the greatest people I have ever known. Still blows my mind how crazy this whole blog world is. Just goes to show how perfectly orchestrated this world is and how simple little things like starting a blog can turn into a life changing friendship. SO blessed.

Nicole and Tyler came to Athens for the weekend and it was the best weekend ever!

I had missed Nicole SO much!

Friday night we took them downtown to the best restaurant in Athens, Last Resort! It was a two hour wait (which isn't half as bad as it normally is on a Friday before a home game!) so we went down the street and hung out at a bar until our table was ready.

Leslie (Another bloggy friend!) and Jessica's roommate, Sam also came!

We had Jessie bring us some snacks ;-)

Finally, we had dinner and it was well worth the wait!!
The bloggy boyfriends were also there :)

Saturday we got up bright and early to meet up with my family to tailgate and go to the Georgia game.
It was Nicole and Tyler's first game!

We clenched the SEC East title so all is well in my world!

Sweet tiny was SO sleepy, she slept in my arms for a while!

Our friend Jen was in town from St. Pete!!
We have missed her lots since she moved

Saturday night after the game we took it easy and lounged around in our sweat pants! Jen made white chicken chili and rice and we just enjoyed being in each other's company :) I seriously have the greatest friends ever.

Nicole, Tyler, Adam, and I took a trip to Menchies for some desert ;-)

Sunday we got up early again and headed to church!l I am so glad Nicole and Tyler got to experience our church, it is one of a kind for sure.

After church we headed to Jessica's hometown, Hartwell, to see her Aunt and Uncle and cousins who just got home from China with their sweet baby boy Will!! I feel so blessed that they allowed us to come share the day with them. They are amazing people! It was also great to see Savannah!!!
Savannah's sister took some pictures of us for our Fearless blog.. can't wait for y'all to see them!

We headed back to Athens just in time to meet up with our small group for Thanksgiving dinner at Outback. Our awesome leaders treated us to a wonderful dinner. I love all these people so much.

This morning I had to give a presentation in my 8:00 class but you better believe as soon as that class was over I was out of there. I skipped my second class so that I was able to see Nicole and Tyler one last time before they left :( I met up with them at a local boutique so Nicole could get a Georgia ornament :-)

And then they were off....

BUT we already have our next trip planned to see each other--Nashville in January for my birthday!!! Love having something to look forward to :-)

On another note.. I moved back home-home for Thanksgiving/Christmas break. I have off this week for Thanksgiving then I have a week and a half of classes before I am off for Christmas break so I decided to just make one move and be done with it! I will be here until January and I couldn't be happier. It's just comforting to know my parents are right downstairs if I need something :-p

I hope everyone's weekend was just as great as mine was!!

XOXO

iPhone Picture Dump

Just some random pictures off my phone from the last week or so..

last week I went to atlanta to see my mom at work.

she has a showroom at the mart so we were able to get some christmas shopping done for CG while we were there.
We picked out this cute doll and got her all the little accessories to go with it..stroller, bunk bed, car seat, clothes, etc.

we also picked CG up this cute outfit for my Grandma's surprise 75th bday party next week ((excuse CG's dirtiness, it was the end of the day!))

We also got her a smocked dress for Thanksgiving.
My mom got her two outfits for Christmas as well but I didn't get pictures of her in them, they are adorable though!

this past friday night jessica and i took two of our small group girls to the purity & worship tour with rebecca st. james. it was a great concert that had great material for our age girls!
the concert was an hr and a half away so we had a lot of time for great convo!

allye and makenzie at the concert

our sleepy babies on the way home!! love them!!!!

on saturday UGA had their homecoming game and CG got to go to her first game!
She has gone tailgating a lot but never actually gone into the game..
she was pumped !!

CG is really into wearing everyone's sunglasses she'll put them on & say "pitchur" ha!!
she looks so serious in this pic with her mickdad's sunglasses on at the game ;)

after the georgia game adam and i headed to a friend's house to watch the alabama/lsu game and the arkansas/s.carolina game.
they kept showing this couple during the end of the alabama game and i could not stop laughing..idk why it was just really funny to me. mainly bc this is probably how and adam i would have looked like if it was georgia loosing (minus the crazy fried blond hair...yikes!)

this is part of the hallway i helped make at the elementary school im student teaching at :)
love it!

i skipped school today to get homework done..it was literally the only choice i had.
i have 15 projects due between now and dec 2nd.
thankfully i got two huge ones knocked out and made good progress on the others :)
lexie lou kept me company today while i sat on my computer typing away for hours..

Happy Halloween!

Hope everyone had a great Halloween!

My niece was hilarious!

She kept walking around in her costume saying "trick treat" :)

Cutest bunny on the block!

Ga/Fl Weekend!

This past weekend was one of the BEST weekends I have had in a while with some of my favorite people! {The roomies, Jessica, Adam, my parents, lots of friends!}

We got to Jacksonville late Thursday night.
Friday we woke up to some not so perfect weather so we decided to go shopping instead of going to the beach. Jessica's cousin Amelia came with us.. we all had so much fun together !! :-)
Adam & Thomas came too!

Since Friday was Jessica's 22nd birthday we all went out to dinner to celebrate!!

 {free nachos!!}

& Saturday was GAME DAY!!
This is my fourth year going to the Georgia/Florida game and this year was BY FAR the best year {mainly because it's the 1st time I've seen them win this game!}

Here's a video of all the craziness that was going on after the game!! SO much fun!

So thankful to have such great friends to spend the weekend with!
