Simplicity

Stop trying to work things out before their time has come. Accept the limitations of living one day at a time. When something comes to your attention, ask Me whether or not it is part of today's agenda. If it isn't , release it into My care and go on about today's duties. when you follow this practice, there will be a beautiful simplicity about your life: a time for everything and everything in it's time. A life lived close to Me is not complicated. When your focus is on My presence, many things that once troubled you lose their power over you. Though the world around you is messy and confusing, remember that I have over come the world. I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace.
-Jesus Calling

I am so bad about this. I am super type A. I like plans and I like to stick to those plans. But we don't make the plans for our life so we have to trust the One who does. We have to believe that he has worked everything out and that everything does have it's own time. I'm learning this right now as I wait to be engaged. Waiting sucks. I know were ready. It's the perfect time. In my eyes. But I know that God has the perfect time, place, and way that it will happen. And I trust in that. Sure I want it to happen. BUT I have found peace because I serve a God who has planned all of my days before I was even born. So with that I just want to encourage anyone who is struggling with understanding that God has a perfect plan for your life. It may suck right now and you may not understand why something is or isn't happening but I can promise you there is peace with Jesus. There is peace in knowing that He knows you more than you know yourself. Learn to live simply. Learn to live KNOWING that He will take care of You.
