Wedding Wednesday: Honeymoon

Hey there lovely ladies! Today for Wedding Wednesday I am looking for some help!! We need to book our honeymoon sometime in December/January.. but we have NO IDEA where we want to go.
The only requirements are that it's a beach and it's a couple's only resort.
Where did y'all go for your honeymoon or vacation that we should know about?
This is such a hard decision (but one that I am happy I get to make!)

Thanks for your help!

  1. We went to Antigua and LOVED it. I think it might be where we go for our one year! We stayed at Sandals which was our first time and it was perfect.

I've also heard Dreams is good in Cancun area!

  2. My friend stayed at Secrets Maroma Beach in Mexico but I'm not sure if it was couple only. They really enjoyed themselves and the pictures are beautiful! My fiance and I are doing a cruise. We got engaged on one and we loved it so much that we decided to go again to Belize, Honduras, Grand Cayman and Mexico. It's not couples only but it is always something I recommend :)

  3. I've heard amazing things about St. Lucia and Antigua is very pretty as well. We got married in August so the Caribbean was totally out of the question because of the rainy season then hurricane season right after. We went to Hawaii and loved it. There are no couple's only resorts there but there are some that are less kid-friendly. We liked how we could travel safely around the island on excursions and ended up meeting several other honeymooning couples.

  4. My husband and I went to The Jewel in Ocho Rios Jamaica for our Honeymoon!..It used to be Sandals at Dunns River, but the Jewel bought it out..the price was very reasonable (opposed to some Sandals resorts)...and its a couples only resort!...We loved it and cant wait to go back one day! Highly reccommend it!

  5. We went to Sandals Halcyon Beach in St. Lucia on our honeymoon. It's couples only and all inclusive. We loved the all inclusive part. It's nice knowing once you get there all you have to spend money on is souvenirs and excursions. We also stayed at Sandals Grande Riviera in Jamaica for our first anniversary. Both resorts and destinations were beautiful. I would definitely recommend using a travel agent. We were able to stay in a much nicer room than we could have afforded on the Sandals website because they get the best deals! Happy planning!
