Bennett | 9 Months

How is it that 9 months of pregnancy is sooooo slow, but 9 months of life went by that quick?! I am amazed daily at the sweet and silly boy that Bennett is growing into. He is constantly on the move and plays hard all day long. He rarely takes longer than 30 minute naps and sleeps 12 hours at night. He is equal parts snuggly and sweet and independent and adventurous. I am so thankful to be his mama.

Weight/Height: We go back to the dr next week so I will update then :) Still probably around 20lbs & 25in. He is definitely starting to thin out since he is so active these days.

Hair: Bennett had his second hair cut this month. He did much better this time, thankfully!! He looks like such a little man with his frat hair cut.

Eyes: Blue!

Clothes: Mostly 12-18m in tops/jon jons, still 3-6m in shorts thanks to his short legs.

Diapers: Size 3

Sleeping: Bennett has been going to sleep around 7 and waking up 6:30 or 7. We are so thankful he is such a great sleeper! Even right now with a cold that has him coughing all night he is still sleeping good!

Likes: FOOD FOOD FOOD. If there is food anywhere in his site he will scream until we give it to him. He will eat pretty much anything! He has also developed a love for balls (his football and soccer ball specifically) and trucks! His Memama got him a piano and he has loved playing with that too.

Dislikes: Having his nose wiped & getting his diaper changed.

Eating: This past month has been a game changer in the food department. We have been giving Bennett table food for a while now but he never really chewed or swallowed any of it, just kind of played with it or spit it out. He finally figured out the whole chewing thing and there is no stopping him. So far he loves eggs, mandarin oranges, watermelon, grits, cheese slices, cheese quesadillas, fries, and pretty much anything we put in front of him. He still gets a bottle in the morning and at night and two sippy cups of milk during the day. He also likes drinking water and juice.

Milestones: Crawling and pulling up on everything. He is cruising around the house with his walker and likes to walk holding one hand :)

Baby items we can't live without: Boogie wipes, pacis, sippy cups, his lovie, and the jumperoo
