12 Weeks {Baby #2}

I'm so excited to be back doing my (sort of) weekly pregnancy updates! Like I did with Bennett I will probably update once a month or so. No bump pictures this week since I don't really have anything to show quite yet : )

How far along: 12 weeks today!

Baby size: Baby is the size of a lime : )

Baby's progress: Baby can open and close his/her fists, has earlobes, and is continuing to grow!

Weight gain: I haven't gained much weight but I definitely feel like I'm growing much earlier this pregnancy than I did with Bennett.

Stretch marks: None

Sleep: Weeks 8-10 were pretty rough. I was getting up a lot and just overall achy when I woke up. I'm not going as much in the middle of the night and I've been able to get a little more comfy the last couple of nights.

Gender: Not sure yet :) My intuition says girl but I think that's only because this pregnancy has been the complete opposite of BT's (which I know doesn't necessarily mean opposite gender). I would seriously be so excited for either! We will find out on March 24th! CANNOT WAIT.

Movement: None yet but I cannot WAIT! That is one thing I missed so much after I had Bennett. I can't wait to feel this babe wiggling around.

Best moment this week: After a scary morning of some light bleeding we were SO relieved to see our baby moving around like crazy and hear his/her strong heart beat on Thursday.

Looking forward to: Our gender ultrasound!

Food cravings: Anything fruity! I have been particularly obsessed with mango pineapple smoothies!

Weirdest food I ate this week: Nothing too out of the ordinary.

Anything making you queasy or sick: I am happy to report that I have had ZERO morning sickness this time around. It has been so nice to not have to deal with being sick while trying to work and take care of a toddler.

Labor signs: Nope

What I miss: Nothing really : )

Symptoms: My face is literally out of control. I have never had such bad breakouts in my LIFE. With Bennett my face was perfectly clear the entire time so it has been pretty shocking for my skin to react this way the second time around.

Things that suck: Last week Bennett and I both got the stomach virus. It was a weekend full of sickness. It was terrible and all I could think about was the fact that my baby needed food but I was so sick I couldn't eat. It's hard being pregnant and sick. I was so worried.

Things that don't suck: Not having to hide my "bump" anymore since everyone knows I'm pregnant now ; )

Thank y'all again for all the sweet comments on Instagram and Facebook. I love knowing that our baby is so loved already!
