This past weekend was incredibly FULL! Saturday specifically I felt like I was in a million different places throughout the day. The season of life we're in is crazy busy, but crazy fun!!
Friday night Adam and I took Bennett and Shep to the UGA homecoming parade! I love that we live so close to downtown that were able to do stuff like this super easily. Bennett loved watching the Red Coat band and seeing all of the floats. We will definitely be making this a yearly family tradition.
Saturday morning we started our morning super early dropping Adam off at the tailgate and then the boys (I love saying that!!!) and I went to watch Carolyne-Grace cheer. This was her last game of the season so I was glad we got to go to one more : ) Bennett LOVES going to her games and can't wait until he is able to go out on the field and play. He asks me over and over "Mommy, play?" Won't be long...
After her game my mom and I took Bennett, Shep, and Carolyne-Grace to the fall festival. We didn't have a ton of time, but we were able to do a few things. Bennett painted a pumpkin, CG got her face painted, and they both rode a pony : ) My mom and I joked that we need to go back next year without the kids so we could actually look around at all the cute booths!
After the fall festival I dropped my mom and the kids off at my parent's house and headed back into Athens to pick Adam up from the game. We rushed home to get ready and then headed back out to watch our friends Elise and Michael get married! The wedding was beautiful & we loved hanging out with our friends!
Sunday we made it to church for the first time since Shep was born! He did a great job in the service and didn't make a peep. He will start going to Waumba Land (preschool ministry at our church) in a few weeks but for now he will just go to service with us : )

Last Thursday night we decided to go to Milledge Ave Baptist Church's pumpkin patch!
I wanted to take a few pictures of Bennett but in true toddler fashion it was nearly impossible. We had fun watching Bennett run around though so it was still a good time. We even got to see a wedding..yep, a wedding..in the pumpkin patch ha!
Bennett wanted to sit on alllllll the pumpkins
This picture describes BT perfectly at this age..always on the move!
I love getting to enjoy holidays with this boy. He is at such a fun age!!

Happy Friday!! I am hanging out at the house with the boys this morning and decided to share a few of my current favorites while they're napping ; ) I'm hoping to turn this into a semi-frequent thing!
 Fall clothes
I found a couple cute tops at Loft the other day that I have been loving! I know they will be great for fall, but will also take me all the way through spring!
 This is Us
Y'ALL. I am obsessed with this show. I look forward to it every Tuesday more than I've ever looked forward to a show. If you haven't seen it you need to catch up NOW!
 Fall activities
We went to a local church pumpkin patch last night and it was so fun seeing how excited Bennett was! We have a bigger pumpkin patch in town that has tons of fun stuff for kids (hay rides, slides, petting zoo, etc.) and I hope we are able to make it to that one before the season ends!
 My car!
Back in the spring we traded in my Honda CRV for a GMC Acadia. We knew with having two kids that it would be nice for me to have a bit more room. & boy were we right! It has been SO nice to have the extra space now that we have more stuff to bring. The DVD player has also been a lifesaver ;)
 Fall classroom activities!
Even though I'm not currently in the classroom (love you, maternity leave!) I am still obsessing over all the cute fall activities I am seeing on Instagram/Pinterest. I'm glad I'll be back for Halloween/November so I can partake in some of the fall fun with my kiddos!
Have a happy weekend!

Things around here are still moving pretty slow. Shep and I spend most of our days cuddled up with each other on the couch while Bennett is at school. I have ventured out a couple times with each kiddo separately and a couple times with them together. The logistics behind getting out of the house with both kids by myself still scares me a little but we're getting there! I know all too soon it will become second nature and I will throw them both in the car and go just like we did when it was just BT :)
Last weekend I took both boys to watch CG cheer. Thankfully I had lots of people there to help me!
BT was all about his Uncle Blake since he was sharing his skittles ; )
CG and two of her favorite guys, her daddy & uncle Blake
CG and her mommy
Love watching my girl cheer!
One of our favorite things to do to get out of the house is to go to Shugie & Mick Dad's house. Earlier this week I took BT over there after I picked him up from school and we played with CG in the driveway for a while. They are playing with a big box of Adam's old toys from when he was little.
We have been talking with Bennett about his Halloween costume for a couple weeks now. I really wanted him to be a firefighter and Shep to be a little dalmatian but BT had other plans. Every time I would ask him what he wanted to be he would say "Elmo!" So after school yesterday we went to find him an Elmo costume. He was SOOOO excited. I love kids and their random obsessions and I love that I have a child who is old enough to pick out their own costume!
We are headed to the pumpkin patch this weekend and I cannot wait!

Shep is one month old today! I cannot believe it has already been a month since this sweet boy joined our family. He is such a treasure and I am so thankful for his sweet nature :)
Weight/Heightt: I'm not sure about height but at his 2 week check up he was 7lbs, 11 oz. I'm sure he has gained some since then though.
Hair: Shep is taking after his brother in the hair department! He came out with a head full. Although his brother definitely had more and it was much darker.
Eyes: Blue for now :)
Clothes: All newborn with no chance of moving up anytime soon. My guy is little!
Diapers: Newborn but we will move to 1's after we finish this box!
Sleeping: We are following the Moms on Call schedule for feedings/sleep again and so far things have been going well! He wakes up once in the middle of the night to eat and is still sleeping swaddled in his Rock & Play. He actually doesn't even have a crib right now since Bennett refuses to sleep in his twin bed. We plan to get Shep his own crib soon and will just worry about transitioning Bennett when he is ready : )
Dislikes: So far Shep is pretty happy 90% of the time. The other 10% he is either hungry or is in the car. So far he does not love being in the car. Hopefully as he gets bigger he will be more comfortable in his carseat.
Eating: I was really excited to have the opportunity to breastfeed again. Since my BF'ing journey with BT was less than ideal and pretty much emotionally draining I was hopeful Shep would be different. Unfortunately that didn't happen. BF'ing Shep was the most painful experience I could imagine. His latch was awful and I did everything to try to fix it. By the time we got home from the hospital I couldn't get the formula out fast enough! I did think about trying to pump but honestly I was in so much pain the thought of it terrified me. Now that Shep is exclusively formula fed I am so much happier. He is currently taking 4oz every 3 hours during the day and wakes up once in the middle of the night to eat.
Milestones: Shep had his first "real" smile this week and it was precious. He has two dimples that are so cute!
Baby items we can't live without: Rock & Play, MamaRoo, Wubanub paci, and Solly Baby Wrap!
I still cannot believe I get the privilege to be a mama to two sweet boys. Literally living out all my childhood dreams and I could not be more thankful!
